Vision

The division was established to provide recreational and competitive sports for both students and the members of staff in KEMRI.

Our Goals

Plan, organize and develop games and sports activities in the Graduate School.

Budget for and ensure prudent usage of resources in management of games and sports at the Graduate School.

Assist in planning, organising, and developing games and sports activities.

Our Objectives

1. Ensure general care and maintenance of games facilities.
2. Supervise students going for extracurricular activities to ensure they conduct themselves in a proper manner.
3. Conduct specialized training to enhance players’ performance.
4. Motivate players/students and staff to enhance participation in games and sports.
5. Provide Coaching and refereeing of games to ensure compliance and order during participation
6. Coach and present teams for community organized competitions to encourage social integration.

7. Coordinate training and practice of teams to ensure adherence to training programmes.
8. Keep inventory of games and sports materials and equipment and they are in proper state.
9. Issue teams with sports equipment to ensure teams are well equipped for games.
10. Ensuring proper state of games and sports materials and equipment
11. Supervise marking of sports courts to ensure the relevant specifications are adhered to.
