A holder of at least an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Biological Sciences, from JKUAT or any other Institutional by JKUAT Senate.
Under exceptional circumstances, a holder of a Lower Second Class Honours degree in Biological Sciences provided that the candidate produces acceptable evidence of research ability.
Course Duration
The duration of the Master of Science course in Medical Virology shall be at least eighteen months (18 months) from the date of registration. The Master of Science course in Medical Virology shall consist of:
Taught courses in the first year of study
Research, seminars, and thesis in the second year of study.

Attach Documents
Along with the application form, applicants must attach:  * A recent passport photo  * Copies of all academic certificates and transcripts  * Any preceding certificates

Admissions Fees
Once all forms are completed and all necessary documents attached, applicants will proceed to any JKUAT Cash Office (Main or CBD Campus) for payment of admissions fees (KES 1500).

Payment Receipt
Upon payment, applicants will receive an original receipt from JKUAT, which must be attached to one of the duly filled application forms. The other two copies should have copies of the receipt attached.

Collect Forms
Collect:   * The three copies of the form   * The two copies of receipt   * Copy of Photo ID (National ID or Passport)

Submit Documents
The completed forms, along with attachments, should be submitted to the KEMRI Graduate School (KGS) Admissions Office, KEMRI HQ.

** Applicants must include a certificate of recognition and equation issued by the Commission for University Education (CUE) for qualifications attained outside Kenya.
